Cynthia Loeb General Manager

Cynthia Loeb grew up in southern Illinois learning service and hospitality under the most influential of teachers - her father. He was not only her school principal by day but also a waiter by night, and as a 'busboy' under his direction Cynthia adopted his uncompromising attention to detail and steadfast work ethic.

After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Boston College, Cynthia took her first management position at Busby's American Café in New York City. Eventually she moved to Switzerland to study the French language and picked up a side job at Splash restaurant in Geneva. After a matter of weeks as bartender she took a two-week holiday to Turkey, returning only to find herself the newly appointed General Manager - a role in which she served for the next 2 years. From there Cynthia gained experience in the kitchen as garde manger cook at L'Auberge d'Hermance before returning to Splash's parent company, Azimor Inc, as Director of Operations. In this capacity she helped the company to grow rapidly, opening six restaurants for the group from 1997 - 2002 while overseeing two existing spaces.

Returning to New York, Cynthia worked for the acclaimed chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten as General Manager of JoJo, his first restaurant. From there she moved on to open the fine dining restaurant of the Gaylord Texan Resort, the largest resort and spa in Texas, as the company's first female General Manager. New York, however, was not finished with Cynthia. The city's food and wine scene called her back, this time on the wholesale side as a Sales Representative with Metrowine Distribution and later in retail as the General Manager of First & Vine wine shop on the Upper East Side. Meanwhile, she leads wine service at private events for Martha Stewart, who considers Cynthia her personal Sommelier.

Here Cynthia returns to her restaurant roots as General Manager of Allegretti, where she brings her experience in all areas of food, wine, service and hospitality together to provide guests with an unforgettable experience.
